Gurnani completed his graduation from Lucknow University and his MBA from Australia. He has also completed his Graduate Training Program from Indian Hotels – Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

Gurnani has over 12 years of experience in Hospitality and more than 13 years in Retail and Real Estate. Prior to joining group, he was working with some well-known hospitality chains around the world namely; Taj Group of Hotels, Ramada Grand Hotel, Australia Moving on he joined Piramyd the retail arm of the Piramal group as General Manager – Operations in 2001 making his presence felt in the Retail and in a short time moved to the position of COO in 2005 and in 2006 went on to become the CEO of the lifestyle division of Piramyd Retail Limited and was responsible for driving the aggressive growth plans of the company.

He Joined Future Group as CEO- Joint venture business in 2007 and in 2008 he moved to Provogue (India) Ltd as Group President to drive the expansion of the brand business and support the new initiatives of the group. Gurnani is currently CEO with Prozone intu Properties ltd, which has strategic financial partnershipwith Intu Properties PLC UK, Intu Properties is a FTSE 100 listed company and is UK’s largest developer of shopping center’s and Prozone Intu has presence in six cities across India and is currently developing over 18 Mn sqft of mixed used developments.

Gurnani was instrumental in the overall growth of the company and is responsible for the entire business operations and investor relations. He is part of the strategic think tank group at the group level and hands on leader who works along side the team and supports their development. He is known for being a customer’s person and believes that any strategy without the customer in the middle of it is heading for disaster.
