Shalini comes with an enriched global experience as a Human Resource Generalist Professional with 22 + years’ experience in the Aviation industry with comprehensive exposure to a start – up airlines in India and the Middle East and in the Retail sector in the area of Human Resources Management strategy, operational HR and Learning and Development.

In her current role with Infiniti Retail ( Croma) she leads the strategic HR service organization, which drives ‘best practices’ in all aspects of the people value chain comprising of people management and development. Provides a strategic and operational interface between HR and other Department’s / Function’s across the company while considering their short, medium and long term goals. Deliver specialist knowledge and expertise on all aspects of people management including Statutory Compliance, HR Process Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Organisation Learning & Development, Organization Structure & Design and Rewards Management

She has hands on experience in Strategy and Operational HR. Currently working as Chief Human Resources and Organization learning with Infiniti Retail (Croma). Her last assignment was with SpiceJet Airlines, where she worked as Vice President – Human Resources. She has a proven track record of creating professional Human Resources Department and Environment with Systemic Controls, valu and culture alignment of an organization.

She is additionally handling the profile of - Chief Ethics Officer, Head CSR & Sustainability and Head – Health & Safety

She comes from a Commerce background having done her graduation from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University and Post-Graduation from EMPI – B School MBA (Human Resources), India, Strategic Human Resources Management Program – IIM, Ahmedabad, India.

Recently she has been awarded under the category “Top 100 HR Professional” by World HRD Congress. She was also awarded Women CHRO for the year by Enlight organisation ( An organisation run by HR professionals)

In her leisure time she loves to travel and watch movies .
