Entrepreneurial spirit and dynamism infused by Mr. Albinder Dhindsa. Dhindsa’s leadership, has propelled Grofers to become biggest e-grocery player in the industry in a span of just 4 years.

As a co-founder of Grofers, Mr. Dhindsa has been responsible for overall functioning of the company and its strategic moves. From idea to inception, fund raising to successfully establishing the company, Albinder leads on strategizing long term business model, setting up viable distribution channels and establishing efficient supply chain for the business. He has been spearheading a young team of visionaries that has since redefined the realms of possibilities in the Indian e-grocery industry.

With Albinder at the helm, Grofers has grown more than four times since its inception in India, recently crossed over 100 crore monthly Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). Presently Grofers is the biggest e-grocery player in the Next Day Delivery Model in India.

Prior to laying the foundation of Grofers, Albinder worked with Zomato, wherein he was heading international operations. He has also worked as an engineer in New York and San Francisco with Cambridge Systematics.

Born in a farmer’s family in Patiala, Albinder is a graduate from IIT Delhi. He also holds an MBA degree from Columbia University in New York. He is an avid reader, traveler, hard core techie and a risk taker. Albinder regularly shares knowledge through his blog. His persitent and logical approach has helped in establishing the brand and scale it to the leadership position.
