Sameer Wadhawan is currently the Vice President – Franchise Capability & Business Transformation, Coca- Cola India & South West Asia focused on enhancing the talent and business capabilities for 17 franchisees to make them future ready. Most recently, he was working as Vice President -Human Resource & Shared Services. He has been associated with Coca-Cola for more than six years now. Prior to Coca-Cola, he worked with Nokia Siemens Networks India (Pvt.) Limited, where he was the Head HR – Services & Global entities – India Region. Sameer has also worked with leading organizations such as Cadence Design Systems India (Pvt.) Limited, Hewlett-Packard India Ltd, Duracell India Limited and Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited.
Sameer served as an advisory board member of Coware India Pvt, a technology company. Ltd. and also member of Confederation of India Industries (CII) committees on Affirmative Action and Industrial Relations, committee member of NHRDN (Delhi). He is presently on the advisory board of SHRM India and also serving on CII National committee on Industrial Relations.
Sameer has been recognized among 100 Most Influential Global HR Professional in 2016 by World HRD Congress.
With more than 28 years of experience, he has played a leadership role in setting up HR strategy, leading end to end business strategic functional initiatives and also focused on consulting with business partners and bottlers in building their HR and business capabilities.
Sameer has completed his Post Graduate Honors Diploma in Personnel Management from Xavier’s Labor Relations Institute, Jamshedpur and has a Post graduate degree in Economics. He is also a certified Career Coach & Trainer.
