Deepak Chhabra has over 2 decades of experience in retail, distribution, buying, merchandising and brand management & is currently serving as CEO & MD of Crocs India.

A veteran of the footwear and sportswear industry, Chhabra has held various leadership positions associated with marquee brands like Reliance Retail, Skechers, Asics, Nike, Tag Heuer & Sprandi, where he is best noted for his retailing Acumen, business channel development expertise, customer insights and team-building skills.

He has been responsible for strategizing and driving initiatives delivering superior brand and customer experiences through innovative business planning solutions. Chhabra started his career in 1996, travelling extensively for various projects and assignments across several markets in India & SAARC countries.

Crocs currently has 70 retail stores across 25 cities with aggressive future Retail expansion plans. Before Crocs, he served at Reliance Retail, where he spearheaded retail operations in capacity of Vice President and was instrumental in creating a chain of 250+ Footprint retail stores across 110 cities.

He has been working for Retail sector right from year 2000, wherein he opened first stores for Sprandi. He strongly feels that Brick & Mortar stores will always be relevant inspite of onslaught from E-Com business. Chhabra, 43, holds a postgraduate degree in footwear technology & marketing from Footwear Design and Development Institute.
