After graduating in Engineering with Electronics as specialization, he joined the family business in the early eighties which was till then being managed by his two elder brothers. His first assignment was at T Nagar showroom which he converted into the flagship store of VIVEKS. Till date it is still the flag ship store for Viveks in spite of another 43 stores being added since then.

He is actively involved in directing the day-to-day affairs of the company’s business. Well known for his organizational ability, business acumen, management insights and application of latest technologies –he is also an able administrator.As CEO he is presently engaged in the expansion of the organization to meet and beat the huge challenge posed by the influx of Pan India Modern retailers into Tamil Nadu. Again as a strategist he is charting a course for the organization involving engagement in different formats within the same business of CDIT.
