Chris Biggs is a Partner of The Boston Consulting Group based out of London. He is a member of BCG's Global Retail Leadership Team, and has worked extensively in UK, European and North American retail during his twelve years with the firm.

Chris is BCG's global lead for omnichannel retail, bringing expertise across digital strategy, customer proposition development and operating model design/delivery. His experience includes:

  • Strategy/execution support for leading online grocery players across multiple global markets
    • Online grocery market entry strategies for digitally established and developing countries
    • Online grocery business transformations, driving growth and end-to-end efficiency improvements
    • Omnichannel CRM, acquisition and retention strategies
    • Leading digital publications/articles, judge for the European ecommerce awards
    • Developing BCG's digital customer experience benchmarking approach jointly with GfK
  • Building omnichannel strategies in non-food retail across department stores, electricals, babycare, home goods, grocery non-food

Outside of BCG, Chris worked at Tesco.com, the world’s leading online grocer

  • Firstly in Store Operations, responsible for managing the UK delivery fleet
  • Then in strategy leading Tesco.com’s work to develop the 'dark store' warehouse model
