With over 20 years of experience in business consulting and consumer markets across Asia-Pacific and Europe, he has served several clients across consumer goods, agri business and retail domains.

Harsha leads the consumer markets sector for KPMG in India, encompassing FMCG, Retail, Agriculture, Consumer Durables and Ecommerce. As a part of this role, Harsha has been leading various large scale organisational transformations, growth strategy, revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, technology implementation and business process transformation projects.

Harsh has also played an instrumental role in providing specific sector expertise for clients across Audit, Tax and Advisory at KPMG in India. He is also responsible for driving the overall Consumer Market sector strategy for the firm.

Prior to joining KPMG in India, he was with Accenture in the United Kingdom for five years leading their digital customer business across the consumer markets vertical. Over the years, he has partnered with large organisations and has successfully helped them in their transformation journeys and scaling up their operations. Prior to Accenture, he has served in various sales & marketing leadership roles in India, most notably at Unilever and PepsiCo.

Harsha’s seasoned advisory experience spans across Asia and Europe. While in Asia, Harsha has led several engagements for clients such as L’oreal, P&G, ITC, Bunge, Godrej, etc. His stint in Europe saw him lead several transformation deals across multiple clients. Key amongst these, was his role as part of the global account leadership team at Unilever and British American Tobacco.

His wide expertise includes large scale organisational transformation, growth and market entry strategy, sales effectiveness - frontline sales force and distributor management and net revenue management. Apart from this he also specialises in omni channel strategy & digital customer experience for consumer markets, marketing and advertising effectiveness, supply chain and order-to- cash efficiency, operational improvement and cost reduction in overheads.
