Vivek Mendonsa is currently the Marketing Director of Lawrence & Mayo, a two Divisional company established in 1877. Lawrence & Mayo has created a niche for itself as India’s Leader in the business of Ophthalmic Optics & Contact Len Clinics and in the specialized technical field of Engineering (Geomatics), Scientific, Vacuum Instruments and Systems. Vivek, who is the 3rd generation, is an Industrialist, who believes that the most important ingredient to achieve excellence and customer delight is undoubtedly, passion to offer the best service and the highest quality products. This can be achieved by nurturing, developing and empowering our people to find novel and superior methods of providing outstanding customer satisfaction.

Vivek has been recently conferred with the Essilor award for “Outstanding International Contribution to Optometry 2015”, by the American Academy of Optometry. Vivek has made maximum utilization of his expertise in Optometry and is currently the President of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO). ASCO has been recently been awarded the Assocham Excellence in education awards 2014: ‘Best NGO for Excellence in education & Skills Development’
